Well as you all probably know, I've been hounded by constant abuse from the workers of the construction site behind my house. They completely disregard all regulations and despite being in a small area, they persist on driving at high speeds in their vehicles, causing massive vibrations and shocks to the local buildings. They also managed to collapse one of my neighbours house walls after their regulation abuse had caused huge cracks to appear in his wall before it finally collapse.
Just last wednesday I was sat happily at my PC, trying to chill out and enjoy myself for a bit when I felt something in my eye. As usual I used my finger to remove the foreign bit of dirt, and just as I was withdrawing my finger the room began shaking violently and as you may guess my finger ended up travelling with some force straight into my eye. After putting up with the pain for a whole night, and hoping it would stop the next day I decided to visit the local hospital.
After a few hours waiting I was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion, a very deep cut in my eye. They performed slight surgery on it (cutting away rough parts of the cut with a very small scalpel/needle so it would heal better) and applied some numbing agent.
It didn't take long for the numbing agent to wear away and I was in pain again. Luckily that pain ended a few days ago. Now I'm just stuck with a very blurry eye, I've done some asking amongst my friends and some online research and it seems I've got around 1 month before the blurriness should stop.
So yeah, seems they aren't yet pleased with the amount of damage they've done to my neighbourhood and its residents.
